Our flagship lender matchmaking forum in Surrey, run as three tracks through the year: B and alternative lending, private lending, and commercial. Brokers sit down with the lenders they submit to, one on one, over a morning. Registration is free and capacity is limited.
Commercial Matchmaking Forum
The commercial track of The Broker Collective. Multi family, mixed use, construction and land lenders in one room with residential brokers who want to stop referring commercial files away.
Weekly lender training
Online every week for A.I.M.I. Collective brokers in all three provinces. Lender BDMs and underwriters walk through products, policy changes and the files they are declining. Recorded to the broker portal.

Common questions
Are A.I.M.I. Collective events open to brokers from other brokerages?
Yes. The Broker Collective matchmaking forums are open to licensed brokers and agents from any brokerage. Weekly lender training is for A.I.M.I. Collective brokers.
Is there a cost to attend?
The matchmaking forums are free to attend for brokers. Registration is required and capacity is limited, with a waitlist once a forum is full.
Where are the events held?
The Broker Collective runs in Surrey, BC. Weekly lender training runs online. Ontario events run from our Kitchener office, and dates are posted on this page as they are confirmed.
Are sessions recorded?
Weekly lender training is recorded to the broker portal for A.I.M.I. Collective brokers. The in person forums are not recorded.
How do I get invited to the next forum?
Register on the event page when it is published, or book a discovery call and we will add you to the invite list for the next edition.
Can lenders attend or present?
Yes. Each forum has a limited number of lender tables and presenting slots. Email office@aimicollective.com with your lender name and the track you want, B and alternative, private or commercial.
What other mortgage broker networking events are there in Canada?
Beyond our own forums, the main ones are the provincial association conferences, such as the CMBA-BC Conference and Trade Show in Vancouver each spring and the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association events, plus single day expos like the Canadian Mortgage Summit. Our brokers attend these too; the difference with The Broker Collective is that every table is a lender you can place a file with.
