Ontario is the largest brokerage market in the country and the one changing fastest, with pre construction volume down and renewal, refinance and alternative files up across the GTA.

Common questions

What licence do I need to work as a mortgage agent in Ontario?
A FSRA mortgage agent level 1 or level 2 licence, or a mortgage broker licence. Under the regulations A.I.M.I. Collective onboards licensed agents and brokers only, at every level.
Does A.I.M.I. Collective take level 1 agents?
Yes. Level 1 agents get a mentor, weekly training and a Deal Desk for the commercial and complex files they cannot yet place on their own.
Do I need to be in Kitchener?
No. Ontario brokers work remotely across the province. Training is online and recorded, and events run in Kitchener with remote options where the format allows.
